On 31st July at 5pm to 1st August at 5pm, I’ll be taking on a marathon of a challenge: 24 hours of non-stop golf. Yes, it’s going to be exhausting, but it’s nothing compared to the silent suffering faced by thousands of children around the world. Both the founder of Project 90-10, Emma Jane Taylor, and I are survivors of child sexual abuse. Speaking out isn’t easy, but we’ve chosen to share our stories to help break the silence that surrounds this issue. By opening up about our experiences, we want to show others that healing is possible, and that prevention starts with awareness.

After being sexually abused as a child, I want children to feel protected. We need adults to spot the signs. I am making it my mission to help support schools in my local town, by raising £4,000 in funds. £500 will secure one in-school training programme. I will run a series of events, including but not limited to quiz night, raffle, poetry night, art exhibition, as well as requesting donations.
