Richard is a Principal Lawyer and head of abuse law with many years' experience acting for victims of serious injury and child abuse in high profile cases. He has particular expertise in cases involving religious organisations including Catholic and Anglican churches and minority religious groups. He acted for a large number of clients in the independent inquiry into child sex abuse, and has achieved many landmark settlements and has litigated cases through to the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.
